 January

28 December - 3 January

Philippians 2:9 - 10

Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth.

What does the name of Jesus mean to you?

(How) do we bow the knee to Jesus in our daily lives?

Pray for ourselves, the church congregation and the community. Pray for hearts prepared for worship.
Pray for the residents of Church Lane & Clent Gardens.

4 - 10 January

Philippians 4:8

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

List those things in your life that are lovely and worthy of praise.

John 13:34 - 35

A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; even as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another."

Would you be recognised as a disciple of Jesus?

Pray for our Christian brothers and sisters at our

25 - 31 January

Ephesians 3:17b - 19

And I pray that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have power to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

What does it mean, how does it feel, to be filled with the fullness of God?

Pray for the Vicar and the Reader.
Pray for the residents of Virginia Grove & Nedens Grove.
